Based less than a mile from Glen Forsa this is the perfect base for hillwalking with a gravel road meandering through the glen to the foot of Ben Talla. Walking is permitted on the farm but dogs must be kept on leads at all times to ensure livestock are not disturbed.

Callachally is excellent base for bird and wildlife watching. Bird watchers find the area ideal and return each year to enjoy their hobby. Watch for sea/golden eagles, hen harriers, barn owls which frequent the area. Red deer can also be seen and heard in the glen. The famous Callachally fold of highland cattle are grazed on the pastures next to kilbeg throughout the year with new born Calves and lambs to be seen in the spring time.
